Review on ACDelco 38319 Professional Automatic Tensioner by Michael Schafer

I don't like paying more for an AC Delco tensioner that also came in a box with AC Delco tags only to open it late on a Saturday night after doing other work and found that I was sent a product from a commercial Gates brand. None of the local stores carry this part, so I have no choice but to use it, even though Gates' last tensioner lasted less than 50,000 before it started falling apart. I feel like I'm owed the difference between the two brands which is $35 which doesn't include my work if the Gates brand fails again after a few years. I couldn't find any email contact options, so I guess I'll have to call. Revane will not be able to help me today and in the coming days.
