Review on LEFANEV Charger Electric Charging Multi Current by Brandon Gaines

I bought this charger to make it easier for me to charge our new Hyundai KONA EV via our home solar power system. So far it works great. While Hyundai is not listed here as a compatible vehicle, Hyundai is listed as compatible in the owner's manual and this charger works great with the KONA EV. I connected 240 volts from our solar inverters to our garage. The five selectable 240 volt charging speeds are just what I need to get the maximum available power out of our solar panels. On bright, sunny days, I can choose a faster charging speed. I can still charge an electric car on cloudy days, albeit more slowly. It is good to note that this LEFANEV charger integrates well with the KONA EV charging protocol. For example, on the control screen in KONA, I can set the car to charge at 9:00 am when the sun is high enough for decent solar power generation, and stop charging at 4:00 am. in the afternoon when the sun is too low in the sky. If this charger is connected to the vehicle before 9:00 am, the charger will display the message "Waiting for signal from vehicle". At 9:00 AM, the charger will automatically begin powering the KONA. It's pretty neat and just what I was hoping for. At less than $250, this charger seems very reasonably priced to me and meets my needs very well.
