I bought a similar product which has lasted up to two packs of kittens for four years. I ended up having to order a replacement, so I ordered this one. Given the current global situation, shipping took 6 weeks (there seems to be none in the US). Instead of slats of wood or even 1/2" particle board, this thing is made from low quality, almost thick cardboard/glue material that's hammered into the drill bit when the pilot hole is drilled. Instead of carpet above and below the scratching surface, it has faux fur that also connects to the drill bit and screws, making screwing it to the wall a nightmare. Two weeks and so far he's holding out, but it took the demolition crew three days to figure out his purpose, so time will tell how he handles having those two Tarzan jump on him and do their acrobatics of him.
