I purchased this a couple years ago and raved about it. This time the upgraded version is a royal pain. The added magnets are too heavy so top the center of the screen does not stick. I have tried everything from replacing stronger velcro to glue to tape. My doorway is metal so I cannot use tacks or nails. I have yet to find a way to get the top center edge to stick. That is the most important part. If that is not properly adhered, the door does not close. That renders the whole thing useless. I’m disabled so the added effort of trying to get this door installed is painful and tiring. Pooh on this upgrade! Unfortunately, I am stuck with this item since I cannot return it.UPDATE: The only thing that worked is Sugarman Creations Strongest Double Sided Carpet Tape. It is sold on Best Buy. This tape is holding the screen up very well. Now I love my new screen door. I guess the extra magnets are just too heavy in the updated version. My door frame is metal so nails were not an option. My door does not get wet so I cannot say if the tape holds when wet. It has held through strong sun and heavy winds. Go ahead and get this door. Keep the tape in mind, if the screen will not stay up.UPDATE: 1 year later I have not been able to get the screen to stay up. I decided to remove every other set of magnets on it and that worked. There are too many magnets making the curtain too heavy. This company needs to trash this updated version and bring back the first one.
