I will be back after a few months but so far this is a very good monitor! Here are my first impressions. Let's start with the main reason I bought it: the 144Hz IPS monitor paired with ASUS ELMB (Extremely Low Motion Blur) made for an amazing experience. The technology for combining high refresh rate and low motion blur is well known, so I think there are people who don't know it exists. For the people, let me say, who are very good to play with. I know there are monitors out there that are better and do the same thing but what I will say is that they come at a lower price point which to me is extremely cool to have such a cheap monitor that offers such premium features. ASCR (dynamic contrast ratio) mode combined with ELMB has greatly improved my gaming experience with a TN panel. Colors are more vibrant, response times are almost the same as my TN panel, and I haven't noticed any input lag when gaming. No dead pixels and no flickering, although I'd say I'd recommend investing in a more expensive display port cable if you're experiencing flickering on a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60Hz, as sometimes companies won't tell you , what A display port cable doesn't support anything above 60Hz and so you might think your monitor is ruined by flicker! ** THIS MONITOR COMES WITH A DISPLAY PORT THAT SUPPORTS 144Hz! **
