It's just as slippery as my old mat
The description said that it was non-slip both on the bottom & on the surface. I sweat & therefore my feet & hands slip while I'm practicing my yoga. I bought this cuz it was supposed to help stop that situation - I didn't expect it to be totally slip-free but I'm sorry to day that I don't see any difference at all from my old mat.
