Exceptional quality and performance!
I bought this antenna to replace my PL-660 portable radio whip antenna. The specs mention that it's made of stainless steel with enhanced sensitivity and measures 39.5 inches when fully extended, 3.75 inches taller than the original. Both are welcome updates to the original. In addition, the stainless steel construction is more rigid than the original steel antenna, making it more durable and less likely to warp. The stainless steel contains nickel for added strength, and the surface is polished to prevent common chrome staining and surface wear from stress and pressure. This was a significant upgrade for my PL-660 and I would highly recommend it.
