I took Marilee Rockley's Craftsy class to learn how to make braided jewelry. She is a very helpful teacher and has a lot of experience, so I decided to buy her book. The design looks very heavy and wonky (is that a word?), in other words they look dated. Maybe it's because of the big beads she uses and all the bright colors, but it looks like cheap craft rather than the fine, delicate work that it is. I suppose some items could have been changed to look lighter but I wanted to be amazed and inspired but left a little underwhelmed.
