Review on XELFLY Submersipack Waterproof Backpack - Submersible, Inflatable, Floating TPU Coated Durable Nylon Dry Bag With Airtight Zipper For Kayak, Fishing, Boating, Hiking, Paddle Board (Deep Blue, 18L) by Scott Reid

Best waterproof backpack I could find

The first factor in my buying this bag, was that it had a waterproof zipper instead of having to roll down and buckle the ends as in most bags I wanted a bag i could get into and out of and close back up quickly. I specifically bought this bag for when I am fly fishing from an open boat all day. I was in southern Mexico on an open boat fishing for 8 hours a day for 6 days. I kept going into my bag and just zipped it right up. Stood up to rain showers and salt spray. It also worked great when flying. Advise, don't seal the bag when flying. The pressure changes can be a problem. The zipper is very tight for the first couple of inches when you open it. I put a carabiner in the loop below the start of the zipper which made it much easier. Use the zipper lube!. I will be using this again soon when I'm tarpon fishing.

I bought this for my son because he has to ride his bike 2 miles to and from school each day. Rain is inevitable at some point and he obviously didn''t want all his work ruined. I searched a long time and finally settled on this one, even though it''s pretty pricy. But I''m happy to say, it''s actually WATERPROOF! He''s gotten poured on but everything in the bag has stayed dry! My only concern is durability. The material doesn''t feel very thick. But he''s gone a whole quarter so far and no holes yet!
