Review on Enhance Your Ceiling Fan Experience with QIACHIP Universal Wireless Remote Control Kit – Black and White, Small by Derrick Shaw

I have several Hunter brand remote fan kits that I bought in bulk at auction but they barely work. The range of this device is surprisingly good for the price and it works as intended. The Hunter models I have are better built, have an LCD that shows ambient temperature, fan speed, and light output, and better button placement, but range is often limited to 2 feet or less and requires VERY hard button presses to reach to be activated. This remote, on the other hand, has a much longer range, a smaller receiver, and a more responsive remote, but I feel it lacks the weight and feel of quality construction. To be honest I didn't read the instructions and unsoldered the speaker from the circuit board before I found out that it can be turned off via the remote. C'mon, the remote works fine with the speaker removed, only now I've voided the warranty.
