Review on 🔌 Bosch SR11X - Premium Remanufactured VW Starter by Julian Rash

This 140 amp alternator was a direct replacement for my 110 amp OEM alternator. The lifetime guarantee was a reason for me to choose this one. Bosch does some pretty good stuff. My old original alternator was on its last legs as I could see the headlights and cluster lights "pulsing" when driving at night. I knew it was time for a replacement and why not up the amperage a bit without having to upgrade the cables? Sure, they do gargantuan 250-amp upgrades, but you'll have to upgrade your cables or risk the local news helicopter talking about you as another slow-moving vehicle on fire. whether you have a single or double alternator on your 6.0. No mods are required for installation. At idle (675 rpm) it easily squeezes out 14V. Haven't had it for a few weeks but so far so good. If anything changes, I will update the review accordingly. Note for Ford 6.0 owners; Check your ground wires while you're at it! The Ford 6.0 has grounding problems that can damage a lot of very expensive things, including the transmission, if you don't fix them. Check out a YouTube video on how to do this, as well as Cable upgrades. I saw an immediate improvement in starting after replacing/replacing all ground wires when replacing a generator.
