This pipe seems suitable for installation. Once you use the snorkel for the actual cleaning, it's almost impossible to repair properly. It always took several attempts to put it back in place. After 3 months of use I found I couldn't put the tube/wand back in at all. When I went to disassemble it to see if anything was sticking, I found that the red clip holding the hose was no longer attached. I have no idea how long it's been like this or how it broke. I daresay it was poorly made and never fitted perfectly as it first seemed to me. Instead, I recommend sticking with the Dyson brand. Then you at least get the right piece and don't waste your money.
