Great product, a pleasure to use.

I changed the windows power plan and accidentally turned off the HDD when idle. As a result, a month later the disk began to slow down, in CrystalDiskInfo I saw 50 reassigned sectors, after an hour 187 reassigned sectors, sounded the alarm, immediately disconnected the disk from the computer and started looking for a replacement, there were 3 options seagate, WD, toshiba, the choice was difficult, how to look a needle in a haystack, there were no adequate reviews on , seagate disappeared due to a tiled record, WD turned out to be a renamed WD green series 5200 rpm and parked heads (I think this is a deliberate reduction in HDD resource). I bought Toshiba and was stunned, this is my disk that I bought in 2022. Toshiba DT01ACA200 aka Hitachi HDS723020BLE640. Cloning by Acronis from the old disk to the new one took 30 hours, and there was not a single error that the information could not be read. after cloning, there were 2022 reassigned sectors on the old disk, and every 15 minutes windows gave messages that the disk could not be used. It's sad that almost nothing has changed in the hard drive industry for 7 years, but it's good that there are good reliable models that have been tested by time.

Pros

When the previous disk Toshiba DT01ACA200 ((aka Hitachi HDS723020BLE640) aka under the new name Toshiba HDWD120URZAS)) started to crumble, I started cloning with Acronis to a new disk, it lasted 30 hours and the error that the sector could not be read never appeared. Ideal as a second third drive in a system for bulk data storage, good value for money/capacity. Relatively quiet as a second drive in a system. The floor model under the previous name worked for 6 years.

Cons

the disk does not like power off when idle. Turns on for a long time.
