Review on Swanson T0108 Square Layout Tool by Patrick Ross

I bought this square because the pictures on Amazon show it's a solid line from corner to tip. As you can see in the first photo I uploaded. However, they sent me a square that is missing a huge piece right in what they call the corner. Well I'm telling you I've had different models of the speed square with the same stupid thing and it's utterly useless. It's absolutely useless, and I haven't used a pan notch in 15 years. This will only mess up your mark if you need to make a nice mark on the edge of the board, e.g. B. in cupboards or shelves. I always hated that damn hack and was so damn excited to see Swanson actually make it without that stupid hack. So I ordered without hesitation. I was so thrilled that I finally got a nice square with no AF in the "axial" notch. sooo Today I received the package and opened it with joy. And look what they sent? Damn square with a HUGE piece missing from the corner. It messes up your line every time you make a mark. It has NEVER been of any use to anyone! They pestered me with photos of the square without the notch of the "bar" and sent me one by one. The second photo is the square they sent me. I know some will tell what's going on. Try to make precise marks on the edge of the board with this square and you will figure it out. One person doesn't have to have multiple squares to do the job. I think the Swanson has the best squares, but the notch just ruins everything. That's why I give 3 stars. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars plus.
