I ordered 4 packs because we drive the ATV to the site every day. These ratchets make tying easier. No more straps hanging and tangling everywhere. In addition, they are always installed exactly where they are needed. They extend freely and return with a ratchet mechanism. I only gave 3 stars because of the durability. After about a month of use, the return spring will weaken and not always retract. You have to play with the handle to make it roll back. This has happened 2 out of 4 times so far. I have an old CargoBuckle from about 8 or 10 years ago and it still works and feels heavier. Remember we use them every day, whatever the weather. If you only need them for light work or occasional use, I think they'll be fine.
