My old tablecloths are out and Thanksgiving is inevitable so I came to Revane. I needed one for a dining table for 6 and one for my house's hallway table, which is next to the living room. I have white lace curtains so I originally thought of a white lace tablecloth but for a number of reasons I won't go into detail, it's become clear that this isn't a practical idea unless I'm willing to live with plastic cloth. with a lace pattern, which I'm not. From there I started testing which colors would work. My living room is mostly brown, cream and olive and there isn't a tablecloth in any of the colors I like, but when I looked at the cream tablecloths I was offered a silver and gold tablecloth. As you can see from my photo this is not quite a silver and gold fabric; Is this gold. However, it works fine for me. It fits in my living room and my dining room rug has gold trim. I decided to order just one fabric, check the quality and then order more when I'm happy. The product description (in the Q&A) told me I needed to iron this fabric, and I haven't ironed anything other than random handmade items in years, but as the choice seems to be between plastic, crappy shiny polyester, and fabric that irons I decided to just iron them. The fabric arrived and I was very happy with its weight and weight as well as the look. I think it looks like it's worth more than it actually is and since the hallway tablecloth will be there more or less permanently and it's the first thing anyone who walks into my house sees it's important to me. I was able to iron the fabric in 15 minutes. I was thrilled and ordered another tablecloth and 12 cloth napkins. They came, and after an hour of ironing, my sheets are ready for vacation. I would very much like to order it again.
