Do you want a detailed test report and my experiences? - scroll down PROS: - Latest technology - Easy and quick setup right after installation - User-friendly interface and professional setup (not required by default) - AMAZING coverage and signal strength/stability for AC/AX CONS: Print server only via WiFi or RJ45. CONCLUSION: Works equally well for beginners and advanced users. Excellent coverage for family work/home study and professional gaming/streaming. Extended test: USB 3.0 / external storage - I connected my SSD to it and the speed was around 85 Mbit/s, which is good for this standard; IPv6 support - my LAN does and I've had no problems; PoE on all LAN ports - do not check; the quad-core processor - surprisingly in 2 days it did not stop working and checked that the router was NOT overheating; 801.11 a/b/g/n - I have three 4k Smart TVs, four cell phones, and several other Wi-Fi enabled devices. Print Server - I have a USB printer that obviously didn't work. doesn't work here, but my wifi printer worked fine; I haven't tested an RJ-45 network printer, but from my experience it should work just fine. My personal favourites: 802.11AX with OFDMA and MU-MIMO on 2500 sqm. ft. coverage is amazing! Typically, AC Wi-Fi networks have trouble penetrating walls. I tested it with 4 Wi-Fi networks enabled at the same time: 2 - 2.4 GHz and 2 - 5 GHz, private and guest respectively. .Even when I was 90 feet from the router when my phone showed a trail with 6 unevenly pierced walls and other contraptions in between, my AC/AX signal held a bar giving me about 80-90% of my download speed and uploads with no action from other devices and 60-80% when streaming from other devices. Beginner Setup: It has taken me 10 minutes since I started unboxing to complete the quick setup and connect. to my new secure AX Wi-Fi. My current and previous experience with Rockspace is that they provide very clear step-by-step documentation. Advanced Customization: I found the GUI easy and intuitive; no cumbersome menus or questions, where would I go to install this? The core features, including FTP/Samba servers, are separate, while everything else, including parental controls, is in the Advanced section. This setup isn't necessary if all you want is secure, fast Wi-Fi6 out of the box! Price: Revain turned down my previous in-depth price comparison, so I'll just give you my conclusion here. It's a great value solution that offers decent control for the latest technology at an affordable and competitive price. Full disclosure: 1. I'm a network engineer.2. I was offered a full refund for this device in exchange for an honest review.
