Review on 📱 Enhanced Control: DIRECTV RC73B Universal Backlit Remote for Easy Navigation by Kevin Hawkins

Ok I have two major issues with this remote and one hopefully positive thing. The first and smallest problem is that I didn't get a backlit remote control. I paid for the RC73B remote control and got the RC71. Old remote control and no backlight. The big problem is that it was a dirty used remote control. See photos. That was right out of the box. i opened it Insert the supplied batteries and look for the black dots on the back. I turned it over and saw all the scratches and dirt on and between the buttons. Then I noticed the model number and checked, and there is no button or switch for the backlight. The AT&T instructions that came with it did not apply to the model I received or ordered. It's amazing they sent a dirty used remote control. My guess is that someone slipped them one and sent them their old remote and kept the new one and they didn't test it. I don't know, but maybe the only saving grace is that I'm sending it back for a replacement. Let's see if I get what I paid for or if I get junk again. I will update. *UPDATE* I sent back the first dirty remote and they sent me another one. This is new and clean and has never been used. This is the correct lighted remote control. There is also a proper guide. Moved it to three stars (would have been four) because of the hassle.
