Review on BELSIZE Bike Kickstand Adjustable Aluminum by Justin Herman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pretty good, fits Belsize 16

The Belsize 16 is a pretty good bike, if a little boxy, especially for the price. But to find a suitable stand for him is very difficult. This is not a standard kids bike and has some countersunk screws that would normally accept a standard kickstand. I think there are several possibilities, but none of them are entirely correct. I was happy to see that Belsize (among a few other useful accessories) started making their own stand, but like a bike it's not 100% perfect. Firstly, there are no instructions at all in the packaging, the only instructions that can be found are in the product images on this Revain product page. It's not rocket science, but it would be nice to at least indicate WHERE and for which side the mount is. It is very easy to put on and very easy to adjust in length, which means it should also fit the future bike. One is attached, it works fairly well but sticks out a bit. It has little recoil, so it should be able to get through tight spaces, but it definitely adds to the bike's profile. I think it has more to do with the shape of the bike than the stand itself. All in all a good product and a welcome addition to their product catalogue.

Pros
