To clarify, I mean installing these valve stems from the outside of the rim, pushing them in, not the wheel remove or break pages. I bought it because I wanted you to be able to do just that. If you're planning on taking the tire off the car, breaking the bead and fitting it from the inside they might work very well, or if the valve stem is close to the outside of the rim they might also work fitting it from Outside. I read every question/answer and reviews before purchasing. I also watched videos on youtube. One thing that isn't mentioned is that they won't work if you have a deep dish wheel where the valve stem is centered on the rim. You just can't have leverage to enforce it, especially if you have 5 spoke rims or something like that. I've tried tons of soapy water, tried using a heat gun to make it more flexible, tried chamfering the outside of the rim to make it lighter, and tried brute force. I even tried to scream but it didn't work. Other kits come with a cylinder to insert the valve stem, position it over the rim hole, and push the stem in from the outside in one smooth motion. This kit is not supplied and is useful for anyone trying to mount from the outside of the rim without breaking the bead or removing the tire UNLESS you have deeper disc rims where the valve stem is centered. Specifying what types of situations and what types of wheels work and which don't will save people time, money, and the hassle of waiting for them to arrive only to find out they don't work. It was the lack of specificity in the description that led me to my 1 star rating. FYI, only the "Colby Valve Emergency Stem Replacement" which can be purchased directly here from Revain worked in my situation (but currently the ETA is 7-10 days).
