Review on Cutting-Edge Southwire Equipment Electrician Scissors for DataComm Professionals by Mark Kolipano

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A fragment of this pair of scissors

I really like these scissors, the reason I bought them was because my other scissors (Klein 2700) are stainless steel and therefore rust. Pros: Cuts heavier gauge wire (CAT6A, 14gage, etc.) very easily. The presence of a hole for the thumb and the handle will help not to injure your hands when cutting a large amount of wire. The serrated portion of the blade is great for stripping thicker coats. Scissors have thinner wire (26 AWG) or labels that sometimes don't cut properly, I think because of the handle lever. All in all a great product for the price knowing this might be a tool to keep for certain uses.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • Big and bulky
