This does what it claims to do. I had to leave my exercise bike outside uncovered for a couple of weeks and we had a terrible downpour. He kept my bike dry. I really had to secure it with string because the wind would blow dust into the shelter if it wasn't tied down and tied down so it wouldn't be. I have this on one of those flat board bikes to put your laptop down and work on while exercising. with lots of space.
