For the money compared to what I had 2 of the previous ones this is a good timer I chose due to the novelty of having new birds to replace the one that was still holds great. time, but the bird calls are no longer performed. Instead of the expected low hooting of two owls, there is a shrill screech from the bed at 6 a.m. and then at midnight when the night is quiet. I have it on the stairwell wall where it can be seen and heard from both floors. It wasn't difficult to set up, but to be honest, while it's a beautiful watch, it's not particularly easy on the ear. I have never mailed Revain before but I really want to replace it with the much preferred and loved old design and calls. It will probably end up at the flea market/backdrop bin soon. I am sorry; This is a very bad buy :(
