Review on Grand Macho RT Fan TY 147B by Jnis Anmanis ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

I had to remove the hump with sandpaper for 2-3 hours, polished it on glass, all according to technology, at the end I polished it a little with goy paste, but I didn’t manage to achieve a special result in lowering the temperature by leveling the contact pad of the cooler. The complete fan had to be changed to a more productive (and noisy!) one, namely the Iceberg Thermal IceGALE Xtra 140, only the brackets had to be made custom, but here, too, a fiasco, the degrees remained the same. I used different thermal paste. The trace from the thermal paste is even. So I don't even know if my r5 3600 is hot by itself. When overclocked at a constant frequency of 42022 GHz, temperatures: idle 42 °, stress test 80. Without overclocking, more precisely with auto overclocking to 42022 GHz and a base frequency of 3.60 GHz, temperatures: idle 39 °, stress test 74 °. (Apparently dropsy awaits me)

Pros
  • The size of the radiator is maximum, no longer cram into the case. Under 140mm fan.
Cons
  • Uneven mating plane, in the center of which there is a hump. Cools the processor no better than my old cooler which was 2 times smaller and with 6 tubes. Slow complete fan, but quiet.
