The company that manufactures this product specializes in designing and manufacturing all kinds of brushes for every purpose. This particular option is ideal for any cleaning task that requires soft, thick bristles to reach the bottom of a container with a narrow opening (0.75 inch or larger). The bristle section can be straightened to make a 10 inch brush. You can bend or straighten the bristles of this brush into any shape you like, and it fits (albeit tightly) into a .75 inch diameter hole. My only recommendation to the manufacturer is to give this brush a name that conveys its versatility.
