Not childproof for my child!
Very easy to attach but easy to remove even for a 2.5 year old child. She pulls it just hard enough to pull the halves apart, and then she simply turns the knob and she's good to go! I didn't believe it at first and kept reinstalling it thinking I'd done something wrong or my older kid took it apart. nope Anyway I'm still using it for now because it slows them down by about 15-20 seconds until I buy a better alternative.
