Helps parking a 3/4 ton truck in the garage
Purchased Guardian Heavy Duty 36" parking lip to help park my 3/4 ton pickup in the garage. With only 4 inches of extra room, I needed to get the truck as far as possible without hitting the wall. This parking curb is big enough to easily stop a truck before it hits a wall. Instead of bolting the curb to the floor, I built a frame out of 2 x 4 lumber that installed between the curb and the wall to prevent the truck from pushing it forward.
