Review on Intex Mariner Inflatable Boat Set Collection by James Lighting

Revainrating 5 out of 5

READ MY REVIEW AND SEE THE PHOTOS OF MY MARINER 4

I bought this boat as an upgrade to my Intex Seahwak II. The boat handles much better than the Seahawk II thanks to the inflatable keel. I would like Intex to make a snap bottom for this. The rolled semi-rigid floor is still very shaky and you will not be happy with the flooring. I know I can do wood floors; I will, but I'd rather buy it with the floor already, even if it costs me a little more. Otherwise this little boat is great. I have the docking kit, Minn Kota power center, Minn Kota 30lb traction, swivel seats and it all works amazing, especially since it all fits in my sedan. I regularly fish Brownig and Calaveras Lakes in San Antonio and get weird looks from boaters but more from kayakers. For my personal comfort zone, I only go outside when the wind speed is less than 24 km/h. I've added pictures of our Seahwk II and our new Mariner 4. A final note is that I weigh 230 pounds and I usually take my son who weighs 130 pounds and the pontoons even stay at least 14 inches above the water with all our gear.

Pros
  • . A tough stone guard wraps the body, and a versatile nylon grip tape runs across the top of the body.
Cons
  • Negative impression
