Needs a physical off switch
I can see why so many reviewers are angry, because the moment you pull the tab out, the units are draining the battery. Because the IC is waiting for the remote control to turn it on.That's not an issue for me, since I was planning on rewiring one of these to run off USB anyway. My problem is that the "chase" mode is not a "chase."All of the blinking modes have the lights alternate between odd and even bulbs, so a true "chase" is impossible, so the description is incorrect.
- Works great whether you use the batteries or, as I did, wire it directly to a power supply.
- Remote does not work
