SWINGSHOT CYCLOPS PRO+ SPORTS TRAINING CAM REVIEW

When I first saw this product advertised on Facebook I did what I always do and searched for "reviews” because I was looking for a way to record my practice on the driving range and how I played the 18 holes. My wife is ill and can't go out and film with our digital video camera that she used to introduce me to this type of training technique abroad. it comes down to playing golf. When I went to the SwingShot website, I came across some negative reviews and found some negative ones on Revain.com; There were some incredibly positive reviews, but they predated it by a few years. I then used the "chat" feature on the SwingShot website to get some answers and the experience was not positive. I then wrote a Buyer Beware review on Facebook based on my past experience. I was then contacted by the owner of SwingShot and we went offline to chat. Based on the gentleman's input, which included a history of several negative comments being corrected by the company and reviewers not coming back and updating their negative rating, combined with a promise of full support for his product, I decided to give the dare to jump. .LIKE AN AWESOME PRODUCT! After receiving the SwingShot Cyclops Pro+ Sports Training Camera (hereafter referred to as the "Product"), I read the supplied manual twice to ensure I fully understood what it was about. I have used the product five times so far, the first four on a driving range and today on an 18 hole golf course. the photo burst is used. TRAIN MODE: I used it the most and once you get used to it, set up your racquets for quick access, I found with the 30 second selection (choices: 10, 20 and 30 seconds) you can die make three (3) turns most of the time; You then have ten (10) seconds to pick up and place the next club; You will hear a beep, the camera light will turn "red" and your next 30 seconds will begin. In terms of placement, I put the camera in a side view, rear view, and an off-center front view (one day I'll take the bold step of being right in front of me). Once the session has been downloaded to my computer, any file containing my three shots can be viewed and/or stopped and backed up if necessary to see which golf swing position you are focusing on correcting and/or understanding. It was then that I discovered the absolute clarity of the video that the camera produces with sound. By sound I mean that I announce which club I'm using and when I hit the ball I briefly describe its flight - depending on the time of day and the state of the sky you can see the ball begin to fly. Also the field of view that the camera captures, It's amazing. SLOW MODE: I only used it once for eight (8) shots; this is a work in progress for me, ie not sure if I'm doing it right as the end product is not what I would call slow motion; Again, it could very well be an operator error. Video quality, field of view and sound are the same as in TRAIN MODE - excellent. GAME MODE: I had a great time on the range today, didn't shoot as hard as I could but enjoyed using the product. Please note that the product is very light, the metal spike is ideal for putting the product in the ground, and the procedure I used was: 1) Install the product in the field of view I wanted for the swing ( behind, to the side or to the side). -Center). Front); 2) take my club (tea if it's on a tee box), decide where I'm going to hit; 3) press the green REC button; 4) tune in, take a practice swing and hit the ball, including a verbal description of the flight of the ball or anything else I deem appropriate; and 5) return to the product and press the REC button to stop recording and put the product back into the golf bag. With this procedure I had to record 68 shots today (forgot two shots during the round) and NO that my score was NOT under 70. With my playmate we usually complete 18 holes in 2.5 hours (we are always the first and never have to wait for anyone in front of us); with the added feature of recording my game this morning, it took us a total of 3.0 hours to complete our 18 holes; The product has never been an obstacle to golf. PHOTO MODE: I haven't tried it, so I can't preview this mode. COACH MODE: I haven't tried it, so I can't rate this mode. The product is well designed. The power, timer and mode buttons are disabled while the camera is in use. However, if you need to switch from TRAVEL MODE to PLAY MODE, it takes about 30 seconds to unscrew the camera part from the camera mount, change the mode and turn it back on. It takes some time to get used to the fact that the LED screen is on the other side of the camera when turning it on, selecting/changing mode or timer, so it will take a few tries to get used to the button presses (which you can't see) while looking at the LED screen to make your choice. If I were designing this product the only change I would insist on would be installing a battery. I would add a "locking mechanism" when inserting the battery so you don't have to press on the battery when trying to put the battery cover on. I would make the battery cover metal to ensure it lasts, the plastic connections take some practice to get used to. Connecting the product to a computer and downloading the video is very easy and fast given the size of the files. . Of the 68 videos recorded today, the smallest video was 40,992 KB and the largest 143,456 KB, with an average size of 61,500 KB; The battery power was enough to record all the videos and then download them to your computer. When this was done there was less than ¼ battery left. I end up having golf friends in the US, Middle East and Europe who are serious about improving their game and they get an email from me with my par 5 putt/hole #5 and all three par shots. 4/hole #15 (which I filled with a chipshot and the camera caught everything including the holeshot😊) and a link to the SwingShot website. The ability to review and critique your practice session on the driving range and/or 9-hole or 18-hole round from the comfort of your own home (or with the help of my wife's critical eye). Golf is worth every penny you spend on this product, not to mention the oodles of money you save by not paying a professional to tell you what you can see for yourself (cautions - if you're just learning to play, go to a professional saves you a lot of time and nerves)!
