Works flawlessly on computers and accessories

I bought this to connect a single eye projector to my apple laptop. It works as expected and does a good job. It is curious that there is a cable for "charging". I plugged it in and charged it before use, but it was never clear to me why it was there or needed as I've used other HDMI to VGA connectors in the past and these never needed charging. That made me connect it. regularly before use, just in case, but I still find it uncomfortable.

Pros

SUPERIOR STABILITY - Built-in advanced IC chip converts HDMI digital signals to VGA analog signals; This is NOT a bi-directional converter and cannot transfer signals from VGA to HDMI. And for a low-voltage HDMI source (PS4, MacBook, Mac Mini, etc.), connect an external power source such as a phone charger. Micro USB charging is already included in the package.
