Review on ๐Ÿ”ช KONOLL 8-Inch Pro Serrated Bread Knife - Forged High Carbon Steel Cake Slicing Cutter - Thunder-K Series by Kim Navarro

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice knife, poorly translated care instructions in English

This is a good bread knife. It's a bit heavy for a bread knife in my opinion. But it works well and slices hot bread as best it can (if you bake Rhodian bread you know how hard it is to slice fresh out of the oven). I like that the shaft goes all the way through the grip. The shaft is the piece of metal that connects the knife to the handle. Many cheaper knives wrap the plastic or wooden handle around the tang so it doesn't reach the butt. As a result, the knife loses weight and has a weak point that can cause the handle to loosen over time. This knife has a shaft that goes all the way from the blade to the handle. It's well done. I am not happy with the design on the sides of the blades. I like the hammered look, but there's a lot of black in it and it gives it a dirty look. But I also understand that this is a 100% personal opinion - others will likely like the look of the blade. You wouldn't read reviews if you didn't like the photos in the ad. I have uploaded photos of the care instructions. They are very badly written. Part of me wonders if the manufacturer compromised to not get a proper English translation, what other compromises did they make? But the knife is sharp and works well.

  • Impressive
Cons
