Needed an alarm with battery backup in case of a power outage in the middle of the night. Finally decided and so far it has worked well! I've had it for several months and so far no problems. Pros: - 2 USB ports - 12/24 hour timing with 2 customizable alarm time settings - Set weekday/weekend/every day for each alarm - Backup battery (3x AAA not included) - Various alarm sound options - Adjustable volume/brightness - Temperature (C/F) - large multifunctional knob for snooze or set time/radio etc (fun turning!) - easy to read - radio - good volume Cons: - poor audio quality (didn't matter I don't use the radio and just wanted that it's loud enough to wake me up) - No batteries included - It's counterintuitive that you have to press the dedicated alarm button to disable the snooze function - Imprinted symbols/letters are a bit garish (off-brand look), although that Hardware design seems decent
