Very easy to assemble once you know which sheet goes where. I adjusted mine more along the lines as I needed the bottom tier to match my knee and thigh high boots. Otherwise only booties / ankle boots fit into these cubes. I have a small walk in closet and this was the perfect solution to store my shoes and have quick access to them without taking up too much space. I didn't use doors so I don't have to guess which trunk is which as the doors are opaque and not visible which would be great. By raising the bottom row higher and skipping the row before adding the top layer to these cubes I have room for 38 shoes as shown in the picture but I have extra pieces to make 42 pairs if I have one Add partition in middle part where I put boots. He's stronger than I thought. I really love it!
