Review on Legrand Seymour S865WCC18 Plastic 250 Volt: Durable and Reliable Electrical Solution by Mark Lowery

I've read a lot of reviews on these base lamps and some don't seem to like the plastic but I've actually looked at this unit and can't see anything cheap is built or external type of object. It looks very nice and elegant and the switch can be removed and repaired if necessary as it is not made in one piece like some manufacturers. walk. The rating is lower at 660 volts than solid porcelain blocks and this one at 250 volts. I'm using a small, low-power 3W LED bulb, so it shouldn't be made of porcelain with higher heat output. Soon they'll all be plastic when the lighting gets too dim. Buy one, you will love it. Just make sure to tighten the screws evenly and not over tighten as they shouldn't be so tight that they break the plastic as I've read in reviews they break easily. Pass & Seymour is a big brand and offers a wide range of electrical products. The price is right too! I will be buying more as I have personally seen and tested them. Hope that helps.
