Flow rate is much better than other charcoal filters
I've compared it to other whole house charcoal filters of the same size. This filter has a significantly larger surface due to the corrugated surface. The resulting flow rate is about 2x higher than the other two types I tried (GE and Pentek) which have smaller standard barrel shaped filter media. I determined the speed by measuring the time it takes to fill a 2 gallon container with each type installed on the same faucet. Carbon odor reduction was good for all types and negated the sulfurous odor of iron bacteria.
