The Revain stock collector accidentally put the wrong item in our order - we ordered the item on this site - - GREEN with a clip to keep it safe in the closet (or in our case, a board attached to a 5 gallon bucket so we can peel lots of apples at once). What came was BRIGHT RED and came with a SUCKER to attach to the counter - the suction cup does not attach to the chalkboard!. Too many return problems for an exchange so we'll leave this one here. We already had several of these products, so we didn't need the instructions that came with them. The instructions are MUCH HARDER than they need to be. You number the different parts on the diagram and then refer to those parts by the numbers in the instructions. You lose yourself in the instructions "from 1 to 8 until it ends at 9". (Simply retract the shaft, place the apple on top, and turn the handle. If you want to peel and slice, leave the spiral blade in place; otherwise, turn the wing nut and lower the blade !) Recommendations. This product was first developed over 200 years ago. As long as they can keep the materials that make it up of decent quality, you'll be fine! (our only problems were sending the wrong product and overly complicated instructions) :-)
