This product was able to convert component video to HDMI as advertised. But that's all he does. Zoom is not enabled (as far as my TVs have stated). I bought this product to try on my Wii after reading the previous reviews. My Wii doesn't work with this product, period. As soon as I inserted a disc, the product would cause the Wii to overheat, resulting in an error message on the screen. I've tried multiple drives and each has the same result. I just connected my Wii to my TV with a component cable and it works great. I also tried this product on the Standard Def DVD player which I lied about. The DVD player has a component output which gave me about the same if not better picture quality than when used in combination with this converter. My advice to people, just save your money.
