Review on πŸ”ͺ Sharp Pebble Waterstone Flattening for Effective Sharpening by Kevin Jacobson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good starting stone

I've only had this a few weeks but so far it seems like a really good stone. I usually test for a month or more before writing a review but I can already say these stones are worth the money. I usually use Arkansas Stone and decided to try some wet stones for a change, they were pretty cheap so I was like what the heck. They are well packaged and shipped so I had no chips. The stones were originally flat so I sharpened a few chisels. After that I had to use a leveling stone, but it wasn't long before I was leveling the stone again. Even tested it with my combination square. I am happy with the purchase. Keep in mind that these stones are for bevel setting so you will need a higher grit like 3000/6000 to get a razor sharp edge. I've used this stone for some of my really boring stuff, then progressed to my medium and then small Arkansas stones followed by a leather strap. Razor sharp chisels, and I mean literally, I have bald spots on my arms from chisels that used to barely cut. For your information. I kept this stone in a water bath the whole time with no problems.
