Happy with my Grunwerg French Press!

I don't know why this article doesn't appear at the top of French Press search results. Very very satisfied with its durability! I have no doubts that I will give this little fella a long life! I don't care if it's not 100% steel as temperature doesn't matter if I heat the press with boiling water. It actually keeps the temperature level within the extraction range, so when I'm ready to brew, the temperature of the press is still in the extraction range and equal to the actual water I'm pouring into the brew press. I like the amount of nickel in it because I believe the nickel makes it shine. I also love the fact that there is no plastic built in and all parts are detachable, allowing for flawless cleaning and therefore a clean cup of coffee! I used to have a bodum press with a plastic handle. The handle was soldered to the press. Heating the press for a long time caused the press to expand and contract, eventually causing the solder to loosen and the handle to break. I got many years from Bodum. But I'm much happier with this press. The only thing that confuses me is that the box the press came in was a bit damaged upon arrival. This was strange as the shipping box was undamaged. There were no scratches or damage to the press so everything was fine for me. If you're not the type to spend a lot of money on a French Press and you want reliability at a reasonable price, then buy this press!
