I have been riding and maintaining my bikes for over 30 years. I broke 2 of these cables in less than 8 months. Please note that I keep my bikes outside as I have for the past 10 years. I noticed that these cables rusted very quickly, but I assumed the damage was only cosmetic, kid was wrong. I ride my bike through the Northeastern United States and I park my bikes outside. I usually get YEARS of cables, it takes less than 8 months! In my case both cables brake cables were installed and it was a very dangerous situation. I would not buy this brand again. The price is low, but this is not a risk to your safety.
