I saw some ads on Facebook for BRU Cold Brew so I decided to check it out. I've never tried iced coffee, so the whole thing was pretty unfamiliar to me, but the idea was interesting. I love coffee, maybe too much, and I always give my hard-earned money to Starbucks because those frappuccinos are my weakness. Brookstone offers a BRU system, but I was able to find it here for just a few bucks cheaper, and with Prime it'll be here much sooner, so I did the wise thing and ordered from Revain. I was also able to get a few bucks guarantee that fixed the price right where Brookstone had it. Not even bad! The packaging is very nice. Copper metallic on matt black, very attractive! It pretty much explains everything right on the box, which is nice too. It shows 3 different brewing options (light, medium and heavy) and the brewing time set for each. Fill, turn and drip. Includes: Lid, 14oz Water Tank, Lock Chamber, 50 Paper Diffusers, Bru Dial, Mill Cone, Stabilizing Ring, Coffee Stand (to prevent spills), Tritan Mug, Snap Lid, and Tritan Straw. The instructions are pretty straightforward, although finding your perfect drink may take a few tries. My first batch wasn't great, quite bitter but covered easily with almond milk and some xylitol based sweetener. The best part is that you can use any ground coffee you want without having to spend extra money on fancy coffee grounds. I definitely recommend BRU's Cold Brew Coffee System!
