I love this mug. So smart. I love iced coffee and would spend about $4 or $7 at Dunkin/Starbucks for one. Now I save so much by making my own. And I can do it the way I like. It took some getting used to, but easy.

Worked great for a few weeks. Now the top flows around the bottom so either the water overflows or you end up with a half coffee, half water solution in your cup. It spills so much that even on the "slowest brew setting" (which should take 10-12 hours) it's ready in about 10 minutes. Pretty useless at the moment. at least the cup still works for drinking.

I really wanted to like it but I am very disappointed. Setup is not as easy as I thought. Most disappointing is the brewing. I wasted coffee grounds and got really really weak coffee. I followed the brewing instructions and the coffee came out very lightly with heavy brewing (it took more than 12 hours when they say 10 hours). I looked at the coffee grounds in the bottom capsule and the center was still dry. The water was completely bypassed and only the outside was brewed. picture included.

I saw some ads on Facebook for BRU Cold Brew so I decided to check it out. I've never tried iced coffee, so the whole thing was pretty unfamiliar to me, but the idea was interesting.
