In general, the product is excellent. construction quality at the highest level; Solid parts and well assembled. My problem, and hence the 4 star rating, is that the "pillar" that detaches from the CD slot handle sticks out too far for my switch in the car, so I can't move the switch to park without that my phone needs to be removed from the mount. The same happens when shifting from park to reverse or drive. I cannot place my phone on the cradle until the switch is fully engaged. I also don't have enough room to even reach for the shift knob so I have to return this great product. I wish they had an adjustable arm. For the record, if you are considering purchasing this item and you have the same car as me, I drive a 2015 Genesis sedan.
