My 8 year old son is a huge fan of Minecraft and has several other sets like this Overworld so when I saw this one I bought it for him. As with other Minecraft sets that have come out recently, you get a couple of lightweight cardboard items to build and then an action figure. The character is educational and looks great, and my son and I are happy. But the blocks you assembled are less impressive to me. I actually had to use duct tape to hold them together or they just fell apart. I had the same issue with another set we received a while back but I was hoping this set wouldn't be like that. Unfortunately everything is the same. I just have a feeling that for $30 you can get a figure that can be $10 at best and then some cardboard paper pads to assemble. The fact that the blocks needed duct tape to stay intact is rather disappointing given the price. But my son loves it so much that I still give it 3 stars.
