I bought this ORIGINAL Dyson hose for a reason - some reviews said that non-original hoses sometimes wouldn't snap and then pop out when you pull the hose off. Well guess what - this one did the same. Then I took the first photo and noticed that the right side of the hose connector's rib was not aligned with its slot. After making sure the connector was oriented correctly, it fitted perfectly.
