not suitable for all dough types

NOT suitable for keto tortilla dough and therefore not suitable for undried doughs (oily/fatty/fatty doughs NO)! The rollers just don't grip the dough no matter what speed or width you set. Even with drier batter, you still need to flatten the batter to about a nickel height, e.g. Apparently, based on the manual, this also requires a few passes. You put the dough on 8, then fold it in half and repeat the process (change the knob/width setting each time) until it's as thin as you like. IF your dough rises, that's it. Also, there is NO way to take it apart for proper cleaning, in fact, you should NOT wet/wash it at all (see instruction image). Don't know about others, but while this thing worked for me, letting the dough air dry and pulling it out of the roller/inner area with toothpicks - that's not my idea of how to properly clean this, let alone because disinfection. Most types of dough have eggs and I can't take them apart to clean them or even wash them with soap and water with a brush, a big no for me! And the funny thing they say it can't be washed is I had no choice but to actually wash it with soap and water because you have to use a product like slime to remove the gray warning sticker, its Adhesive easily peels off the sticker but does not peel off the attachment roll itself and goes from the edge of the inside to the other side of the roll. it cannot be scraped off with a fingernail or a dry sponge. It must be removed with a sticky mass similar to the product which required 3 applications, rubbing twice with dish soap and rubbing back and forth in the crevices with a dry paper towel before all sticky residue has been removed. It literally took over 15 minutes to completely remove the super strong sticker residue! Now this thing actually fits in the kitchen stand mixer (I have the mini version), it's a little loose so it leans down a bit, but still attached and goes in properly. It looks good and weighs almost 2 pounds hence 3 stars for that. Lost 2 stars as it doesn't work for all types of dough, it can't be disassembled or washed with soap and water, and you still need half the work. Pre-roll the dough to about 1/8 inch or so. Since I can't use it, it will definitely be sent back, so at least the next person who can get what I'm sending back won't have to deal with the sticker part at least!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
