This roller is very weak. I had to hand roll out the dough very thin before the roller even missed it. If he hit a slightly thicker spot, he just stopped. The recipe in the book that came with it isn't accurate either. I followed it exactly. Everything crumbles, there is no test. The image appears after I've already added 5 more tablespoons of water. I had to add a few more before batter formation.

The assembly is good, the smell is strange

For the price, this item seems incredibly high quality. How and why is it so difficult? It is very easy to use: 8 settings are clearly marked on the spring-loaded knob and are easy to adjust. I got good results when I first tried fettuccine by rolling out the dough on speed 3 and cutting it into strips with a knife. (100g flour + 1 egg + drop of olive oil + pinch of salt is the recipe I used; leave it in the fridge for a day or two after kneading. It may take on a gray cast, but it won't go…

That's exactly what I wanted!

I bought this to make homemade dumplings easier. This was a project like rolling dough by hand, so I was hoping something would help with the process. Wow, I found my solution. This is a great product. The dough needs to be flattened/rolled out, but only in a way that makes it easy to serve. I've found it's important to make sure your dough is floured on both sides before putting it in the machine. I make dumplings very thin. I get exactly the thickness I like by continuing the process at level

not suitable for all dough types

NOT suitable for keto tortilla dough and therefore not suitable for undried doughs (oily/fatty/fatty doughs NO)! The rollers just don't grip the dough no matter what speed or width you set. Even with drier batter, you still need to flatten the batter to about a nickel height, e.g. Apparently, based on the manual, this also requires a few passes.
