Make sure you buy the right product. This product is good for what it is designed for, but it is important to understand what it is. This is NOT a hard hat. This is a paintball suit and nothing more. The thickness of the plastic and flexibility with light pressure won't protect you from bumps. There is also no suspension system. It is well made, looks good and is very light. I wouldn't put this night vision mount to any significant weight. GoPro should fit. It wasn't very comfortable either. It includes additional pads. I would recommend a product from the same company in an ABS plastic model about 0.25" thick if you want some mild impact resistance. It has a faux suspension system that's really just for sizing. Don't trust the sellers pictures I believe they use the pictures of the $50+ model to sell the $30 model.
