I use these bits on my cordless impact wrench for Honda rotor mounting bolts (and similar). I use vessel bits on my handheld impact wrench, but they are 1/4-shaft bits. I've always used my handheld impact wrench for this, but after getting these bits and trying the cordless impact wrench, these screws came out in seconds. Unfortunately I could not find what specification these bits are made for. The reason this matters, at least to me, is because the rotor mounting screws I mentioned are actually not Phillips head screws, but JIS style Phillips head screws. Since JIS no longer certifies such things, DIN 5260-PH / ISO 8764-1 bits are the best equivalent. All I can say about these bits is that they don't have the simple cam exit that is otherwise problematic with a typical American screwdriver or Phillips bit. It may be the way they are used or the specs, I'm not sure. If you need these bits for your rotors and are hesitant to use a 1/4 shank instead of an 8mm (5/16) shank, fear not. I broke another one. I'm not sure where else #3 is used, but these bits seem like a great bit version of #3.
